Face of the Friend

An evening of mystical Persian music & Sufi Sama Dance inspired by the poetry of Rumi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rumi) and Nimatulahvali (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shah_Nimatullah_Wali)

Ticket price: $40-$60. Concert will take place at newly updated Fairview theater with amphitheater style seating and great sound quality. On this night Soley (http://www.soleymusic.ca/) will present some of his music from Water, Rainbow and the indecent album, with mystical / sufi Persian poetry. In the second half of the concert, Soley will present a new work, called Face of the Friend with Sufi Sama Dance and Whirling Dervishes, This 90 line mystical poem of Nimatullah, describes the journey of a seeker towards the Beloved.
